We are a unisex salon with over 20 years experience that offer treatments including waxing, laser hair removal and brow and lash treatments.
Our team are trained in all of the latest techniques and we use only the finest products. Some of which include Lycon, HD Brows and Vegan alternatives. Our vegan alternatives are made from natural and plant based ingredients, providing treatments that are free from animal by-products.
We pride ourselves on high hygiene standards and safe practise is a commitment we take very seriously. Treatment rooms are sanitised thoroughly in between each appointment ensuring we comply with all hygiene legislations at all times.
Natasha and Abbey had been friends and colleagues in the waxing industry for over 12 years before deciding to take the plunge and open their own salon. After years of working within the industry, they learned exactly what kind of salon they didn’t want to be. They saw firsthand the importance of creating an environment built on respect, care, and excellence — and they were determined to perfect every aspect of the waxing experience.
With families of their own, they understood how essential it is to build a loving, family-orientated workplace — one where staff feel valued and supported. Inspired by Richard Branson’s words, “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. Take care of your staff and they will take care of your clients,” they poured their hearts into creating something truly special.
That vision became NQ WAX STUDIO — more than just a salon, it’s a home away from home for both staff and clients. Every detail has been carefully crafted to ensure the highest standards of professionalism, comfort, and care.
In just two years, NQ WAX STUDIO has achieved incredible milestones. The salon has won multiple national awards, launched its very own range of professional waxing products, and established a thriving accredited waxing academy. Through the academy, Natasha and Abbey are raising industry standards by sharing their perfected techniques and addressing the lack of comprehensive, high-quality waxing training available today.
Proudly, NQ WAX STUDIO is also Manchester’s first waxing salon to offer vegan alternatives for all treatments, leading the way in ethical and inclusive beauty.
